FIRST DAY AT DANCE
First days are scary for most people, but it can also be exciting! It's all about the way you frame the new experience in our minds. And, if you are the parent of a tiny dancer, your work on framing your child's first dance experience starts before you register or soon after registration.
To help give us your child a great start in dance follow these steps:
STEP #1 - Try to make it your child's idea to register for dance classes in the first place. Perhaps even complete the online registration page together. Including your child right from the start sets the stage for great experience.
STEP #2 - Do not your the word "FUN". As parents we often use the word "FUN" to trick our kids into doing things that really aren't so fun. Instead of using the word fun, use descriptive words
